Educational Qualifications

Engineering & Technical Branches

• Level-9A: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline with First Class.
• Level-10: Bachelor’s + Master’s in relevant discipline with First Class in either.

Architecture

• Level-9A: B.Arch. or 4-year allied degree with First Class.
• Level-10: Bachelor’s + Master’s in relevant discipline with First Class in either.

Workshop Superintendent

• Level-9A: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.
• Level-10: Bachelor’s + Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with First Class in either.

Non-Engineering (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English)

• Level-9A: Master’s degree in appropriate subject with First Class.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 40 years (as on 01 July 2025)

Relaxations:

• SC/ST/OBC/Skilled Players/Govt Employees: +5 years
• PwD: +15 years
• Ex-Army/SSC Officers: +3 years + service period

The UP Technical Education (Teaching) Service Examination-2025 selection will be conducted in two main stages: Written Examination and Interview (Viva-Voce Test). Final merit will be prepared based on the combined performance in both stages

UPPSC Recruitment 2025 – How to Apply Online

The application process for the UP Technical Education (Teaching) Service Examination-2025 is completely online and based on the One Time Registration (O.T.R.) system. Candidates must carefully follow the steps below:

Step 1: One Time Registration (O.T.R.)

• Candidates must first obtain an O.T.R. number from https://otr.pariksha.nic.in.
• O.T.R. should be completed at least 72 hours before submitting the online application.
• Personal details entered in O.T.R. will automatically appear in the application form.

Step 2: Online Application Process

The online application is completed in four stages:

Stage 1 – Authentication

• Visit https://uppsc.up.nic.in.
• Click on “ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ADVERTISEMENTS” → Apply.
• Authenticate using your O.T.R. number and OTP/password.
• Fill in educational qualifications required for the post.

Stage 2 – Application Details

• After authentication, the Applicant Dashboard will open.
• Click on “Submit Details” under Application Part-2.
• Address and other personal details will be auto-fetched from O.T.R.
• Select Yes/No for preferential qualifications (e.g., NCC, Territorial Army).

Stage 3 – Fee Payment

• After submitting details, proceed to Fee Confirmation Window.
• Pay the examination fee via SBI MOPS using:
  • Net Banking
  • Card Payment
  • Other Payment Modes
• Take a printout of the Payment Transaction Slip.
• If payment fails, log in again and complete payment under Pending Payment.

Stage 4 – Final Submission

• After successful fee payment, the final application form will be displayed.
• Take a printout and keep it safe for future reference.
• Candidates can modify qualification details only once before the correction deadline (09 January 2026)
