SSC GD PET/PST Details 2025
After qualifying the CBE, candidates must clear the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Requirements

- PET is qualifying in nature.
- Ex‑servicemen are exempted from PET but must attend height/chest/weight measurement.
Physical Standard Test (PST) Requirements
Height
- Male: 170 cm
- Female: 157 cm (Relaxations apply for ST, NE states, Gorkhas, etc.)
Chest (Male Only)
- Unexpanded: 80 cm
- Minimum Expansion: 5 cm
SSC GD Medical Examination (DME/RME)
Candidates qualifying PET/PST must undergo a medical examination as per CAPF medical standards
Medical Board checks:
- Vision standards
- Physical fitness
- Medical history
- Tattoos (as per CAPF rules)
- Any deformities or health issues
If declared unfit, candidates may apply for Review Medical Examination (RME)
Document Verification (DV)
During DME/DV, candidates must produce original documents such as:
