Selection Process – SBI Recruitment 2025
The selection process will consist of shortlisting, interview, and CTC negotiation. Final merit will be based on interview performance only.
Step 1: Shortlisting
- Meeting minimum qualifications and experience does not guarantee an interview call.
- A shortlisting committee constituted by SBI will decide the parameters.
- Adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted.
- Decision of the Bank regarding shortlisting is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
Step 2: Interview
- Interview will carry 100 marks.
- Qualifying marks will be decided by SBI.
- No correspondence regarding qualifying marks will be entertained.
- Interviews may be conducted in personal, telephonic, or video mode.
Step 3: CTC Negotiation
- Conducted one-by-one with candidates during or after the interview process.
- Negotiation will be based on candidate’s experience, current emoluments, and place of posting.
Step 4: Merit List
- Prepared in descending order based on interview scores.
- If multiple candidates score the same cut-off marks, ranking will be done by age in descending order (older candidate placed higher).
