Assistant Commissioner (KVS & NVS)

• Education: Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
• Professional: B.Ed. (or Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.) with 50% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years as Principal in Level-12 pay scale.
• Skills: Knowledge of computer applications; working knowledge of Hindi & English.

Principal

• Education: Master’s Degree with 50% marks.

• Experience:
  • KVS: 3 years as Vice-Principal in Level-10 OR 12 years as PGT/Lecturer.
  • NVS: 9 years combined service as PGT + Vice-Principal (minimum 3 years as VP).
• Skills: Computer applications, Hindi & English proficiency.

Vice-Principal (KVS)

• Education: Master’s Degree with 50% marks.
• Professional: B.Ed. (or Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.) with 50% marks.
• Experience: 6 years as PGT/Lecturer OR currently working as Vice-Principal in Level-10.
• Skills: Computer applications, Hindi & English proficiency.

Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs)

• Education: Master’s Degree in relevant subject with 50% marks.
• Professional: B.Ed. (or Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.) with 50% marks.
• Subjects: Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, History, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Physical Education, Modern Indian Languages.
• Skills: Ability to teach in Hindi & English medium.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs)

• Education: Graduation in relevant subject with 50% marks.

• CTET: Qualified in CTET (Paper-II).

• Administrative Officer: Graduate + 3 years as Section Officer in Level-7.
• Finance Officer: B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) + 4 years’ experience in Audit/Accounts.
• Assistant Engineer: Graduate in Civil/Electrical Engineering + 2 years’ experience.
• Section Officer: Graduate + 3 years as UDC/SSA in Level-4.
• Junior Translator: Master’s in Hindi/English + Diploma/Experience in translation.
• Secretariat Assistants (Sr./Jr.): Graduate/XII pass + Typing speed (30–35 w.p.m.).

Skill Test Details

Stenographer Grade‑I & Grade‑II

• Test Type: Skill Test in Stenography
• Medium: Candidates can opt for Hindi or English
• Dictation:
  • Grade‑I: 10 minutes at 100 words per minute (w.p.m.)
  • Grade‑II: 10 minutes at 80 w.p.m.
• Transcription Time:
  • English: 50 minutes (on computer)
  • Hindi: 65 minutes (on computer)
• Nature of Test: Qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be added to the final merit list but failing will disqualify the candidate.

Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)

• Test Type: Typing Test on Computer
• Medium: Candidates can choose Hindi or English
• Typing Speed Requirement:
  • English: 35 w.p.m.
  • Hindi: 30 w.p.m.
• Duration: 10 minutes
• Nature of Test: Qualifying in nature. Candidates must meet the required speed and accuracy.

Important Notes

• The skill test is mandatory for all shortlisted candidates.
• Candidates with benchmark disabilities who are certified as unable to type by the competent authority are exempted from the typing test (for JSA).
• No request for change of medium (Hindi/English) will be entertained after submission of application.
• The test will be conducted only on computers provided by the examination authority; candidates cannot use their personal laptops or devices
