IBPS PO 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To eligible for the BPS PO Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1. Nationality

Applicants must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., intending to settle permanently in India.

Note: Non-Indian citizens must provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

2. Educational Qualification (as on 21.07.2025)

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must possess valid proof of graduation (degree/mark sheet) at the time of registration.

3. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years (i.e., candidates must be born between 02.07.1995 and 01.07.2005, both dates inclusive)

IBPS PO Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The recruitment process for IBPS PO/MT Recruitment 2025 consists of three main stages:

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination
  • Interview

1. Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test)

  • This is a qualifying exam.
  • Candidates must secure minimum cut-off marks in each section and overall to be shortlisted for the Mains exam.

3. Interview

How to Apply Online for IBPS PO 2025

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official IBPS website from 1st July to 21st July 2025. Follow the steps below:

Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. Visit the Official Website Go to www.ibps.in and click on the link “CRP PO/MT-XV” under the “CRP PO/MT” section.
  2. Click on “Apply Online” Select the option “Click here to apply online for CRP-PO/MT-XV”.
  3. Register as a New User
    • Click on “New Registration”
    • Enter your name, contact details, and email ID
    • A provisional registration number and password will be generated and sent to your registered email and mobile number
  4. Fill the Online Application Form
    • Log in using your registration number and password
    • Fill in personal, educational, and communication details
    • Choose your preferred exam center
  5. Upload Documents Upload the following scanned documents in the prescribed format:
    • Photograph (20–50 KB, 200 x 230 pixels)
    • Signature (10–20 KB, 140 x 60 pixels)
    • Left thumb impression
    • Handwritten declaration (as per the format in the notification)
  6. Pay the Application Fee
    • ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
    • ₹850 for General/OBC/EWS candidates
    • Payment can be made via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI
  7. Submit and Print
    • Verify all details before final submission
    • Submit the form and take a printout of the application and e-receipt for future reference

  • Passport Photo: Recent passport-size, light background, 20–50 KB
  • Signature: Black ink, not in capital letters, 10–20 KB
  • Left Thumb Impression: On white paper with ink, 20–50 KB

    “I, _______ (Name), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

IBPS PO – Salary and Other Benefits

Selected candidates for IBPS PO 2025 will receive an attractive salary along with multiple allowances and benefits as per government banking rules.

IBPS PO Salary Structure

  • Basic Pay: ₹36,000 (as per 11th Bipartite Settlement)
  • Gross Monthly Salary (Approx.): ₹52,000 – ₹55,000
  • Components Include:
    • Dearness Allowance (DA): ~30–40% of Basic Pay (subject to revision)
    • House Rent Allowance (HRA): 7–9% of Basic Pay (depends on city category)
    • Special Allowance: ~7.75% of Basic Pay
    • City Compensatory Allowance (CCA)
