Eligibility Criteria for Bombay High Court Clerk Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university (Law graduates preferred).
  • Must have passed English Typing Test with speed of 40 w.p.m. (GCC/ITI/MSCE).
  • Must possess Computer Knowledge Certificate (MS Office, Word, Linux, Open Office, etc.) from recognized institutes (NIIT, C‑DAC, MS‑CIT, etc.).

Age Limit

  • General (Open): 18 – 38 years
  • SC/ST/OBC/SBC (Maharashtra Govt. categories): 18 – 43 years
  • Govt./High Court Employees: Minimum 18 years, no upper limit

SSC Constable (GD) Recruitment Notification OUT – Apply Online for 25,487 Vacancies

Other Conditions

  • Must be domiciled in Maharashtra.
  • Good character, no criminal record.
  • Not more than two living children born after 28 March 2005.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak Marathi.

Selection Process – Bombay High Court Clerk Recruitment 2025

The recruitment process for Clerk posts in the Bombay High Court will be conducted in three stages:

1. Screening Test (Objective MCQ)

How to Apply – Bombay High Court Clerk Recruitment 2025

Candidates must submit their applications online only through the official website of the Bombay High Court. No other mode of application (post/courier/hand delivery) will be accepted.

Step‑by‑Step Guide

  1. Visit Official Website
    • Go to bombayhighcourt.nic.in.
    • Click on Recruitment → Clerk Recruitment → Apply Online.
  2. Pay Examination Fee
    • Pay ₹1000 via SBI Collect (online payment gateway).
    • Note down the SB Collect Reference Number carefully.
    • Enter this reference number correctly in the application form.
    • Applications without successful fee payment will be rejected.
  3. Prepare Documents Beforehand
    • Latest passport‑size photograph (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm).
    • Signature (3 cm × 2.5 cm).
    • Both must be scanned in JPEG format, each file not exceeding 40 KB.
  4. Fill Online Application Form
    • Enter personal details (name, DOB, address, email, mobile number).
