Bank of India has announced 514 vacancies across three officer grades in the GBO stream.

Bank of India Credit Officer Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.11.2025)

Nationality

Candidate must be:

• A citizen of India, OR
• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, OR
• A Tibetan refugee (before 1 Jan 1962), OR
• A person of Indian origin migrated from select countries with eligibility certificate.

Educational Qualification

1) Credit Officer – GBO Stream (MMGS‑II)

• Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) OR CA / CFA / CMA‑ICWA OR MBA/PGDBM or 2‑year full‑time PG degree in Banking/Finance/Credit

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years as an officer
• At least 2 years in MSME/Commercial/Project/Mid & Large Credit

2) Credit Officer – GBO Stream (MMGS‑III)

• Graduation with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) OR CA / CFA / CMA‑ICWA OR MBA/PGDBM or 2‑year full‑time PG degree in Banking/Finance/Credit

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years as an officer
• At least 3 years in MSME/Commercial/Project/Mid & Large Credit

3) Credit Officer – GBO Stream (SMG‑IV)

• Graduation with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) AND MBA/PGDBM OR 2‑year full‑time Master’s degree in any field OR CA / CFA / CMA‑ICWA

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years as an officer
• At least 5 years in MSME/Commercial/Project/Mid & Large Credit in:

The selection process for Bank of India Credit Officer involves mainly two steps : Online Examination and Personal Interview.

BOI Credit Officer Exam Pattern 2025

• Total Duration: 120 minutes
• English Language is qualifying only
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • General/EWS: 35%
  • SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 30%

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Interview Details

Candidates shortlisted based on online exam will be called for interview in the 1:3 ratio
