UPSC Recruitment 2025 – Post Wise Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Examiner of Trade Marks & Geographical Indications

  • Degree in Law from a recognized University
  • Two years’ experience in handling court cases and legal matters or handling matters of Trade Marks and Geographical Indications

Desirable Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property from a recognized University

2. Deputy Director (Examination Reforms)

  • Ph.D in Humanities / Science / Commerce / Engineering / Technology / Law / Management / Finance / Accounts from a recognized University or Institute
  • Five years post-qualification experience in teaching, research, examination reforms, educational testing, curriculum development, or online examinations

Desirable:

  • One-year Diploma in Computer Application
  • Two years’ experience in software applications

Age Limit

Examiner of Trade Marks & GI

  • UR/EWS: 30 years
  • OBC: 33 years
  • SC/ST: 35 years
  • PwBD: 40 years

Deputy Director (ER)

  • OBC: 43 years
  • SC: 45 years
