Eligibility Criteria – DRDO SAG Internship 2026

• Undergraduate Students: Must be pursuing B.E./B.Tech (IV Year) full‑time in the relevant discipline.
• Postgraduate Students: Must be pursuing M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc (II Year) full‑time in the relevant discipline.
• Academic Requirement: Minimum 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA and above from AICTE/UGC approved colleges/universities.
• Backlogs: Students with any failed subjects/backlogs in their degree are not eligible.
• Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.

Selection Process – DRDO SAG Internship 2026

• Application Screening: All applications received via email will be carefully verified. Incomplete forms or missing documents will lead to rejection.
• Merit‑Based Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted strictly on the basis of academic performance (marks/CGPA) and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
• Notification of Selection: The list of selected students will be published/communicated by last week of December 2025.
• Joining Formalities: Selected candidates must report to SAG, DRDO Delhi on 01 January 2026 with all required original documents (NOC, police verification, undertakings, mark sheets, ID proofs, etc.).

Important Note:

• Selection is purely for internship training and does not guarantee future employment in DRDO.
• Any violation of rules or incomplete internship will result in cancellation of the certificate and stipend.

• Email Subject Line: Clearly mention “Application for Paid Internship – January 2026” along with your Branch Code and Discipline, addressed to the Director, Scientific Analysis Group (SAG).
• Documents to Attach (Scanned Copies):

  2. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college (Annexure‑I)
  3. 10th Mark Sheet

• Deadline: Applications must be submitted within 10 days from the date of advertisement publication on the DRDO website.

Stipend Details – DRDO SAG Paid Internship 2026

• Stipend Amount: ₹30,000 for the entire 6‑month internship.
• Payment Schedule:
  • First Installment: ₹15,000 after successful completion of the first 3 months.
  • Second Installment: ₹15,000 after successful completion of the full 6 months.
• Attendance Requirement: Stipend is applicable only if the intern is present at the lab for a minimum of 15 working days per month.
• Mode of Payment: Direct transfer to the student’s bank account (requires submission of a cancelled cheque).
